A major 4-year joint Danish-Brazilian Research project is funded.
Haja Kadarmideen as a Main applicant / Main Principal Investigator and his colleagues receive major funding (DKK 6.1 Millions) in Denmark and his Brazilian partners also received equivalent ofDKK 6.0 Millions.
The Danish Council for Strategic Research (DCSR) in Denmark and the State of Sao Paolo Foundation (FAPESP) in Brazil funded this joint bilateral research program for four years.
The project is titled, “GIFT: Genomic Improvement of Fertilization Traits in Danish and Brazilian Cattle” and involves 4 universities and 2 international Danish and Brazilian reproductive /biotechnology companies. More news to come!
A major 4 year cattle genetics and nutrition project is funded by the mælkeafgiftsfonden (Danish Milk Levy Board)
Haja Kadarmideen is a co-applicant and sub-work package leader of the major research project in cattle genomics (short titled, Nordic Cattle Feed Efficiency) along with Aarhus University, Knowledge Centre for Danish Cattle and several Nordic partner institutions. The project is funded for DKK 13.5 Millions and will run for 4 years.
